F.A.Q.
Most flooring advice is tied to selling something. This isn’t.
What does the initial call cost?
The 15-minute introductory call is free. It’s a chance to discuss your project, ask questions, and see whether my services are the right fit before committing to anything.
How do I get started?
Book a quick 15-minute call and tell me a bit about your project. From there, I’ll help you decide what level of support makes the most sense for your situation.
What happens on the call?
We’ll talk through your space, what you’re trying to do, and anything you’ve already been told. I’ll point out what makes sense and what’s worth a closer look.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. But if you have quotes, photos, or plans, that helps us make the most of the time.
Will you help me shop and compare products?
Yes, if that’s helpful. I can meet you there, look at options together, and help you ask the right questions so you’re making a confident decision. That’s part of my Guided Buying service.
Do you help with colour and style choices?
Yes. I’ll give you a second set of eyes on what works in your space and help narrow things down. The final choice is always yours, but you won’t be guessing.
How do I know the right product is actually being installed?
I’ve seen the wrong colour, wrong product, and even the wrong floor installed because nobody stopped to verify it. I also watch for damaged material, manufacturing defects, moisture exposure, and layout shortcuts like unnecessary seams. My role is to catch problems before they become expensive headaches.
What do terms like waterproof or scratch resistant actually mean?
Marketing terms don’t always match real-world performance. I help you understand what products can realistically handle based on pets, kids, moisture, traffic, and daily use, so your expectations match the floor you’re buying.
